Meet the Horses

Ben - Haflinger (Age 22)
Ben is sweet and so kind. He loves speed events, barrel racing etc. He would stand all day by you if you would pet him and love him.
HH has owed Ben for 13 years. Ben came with a lot of fear and spooked at everthing. Only my advanced riders could ride him for many years. With many years of love, patience, and never giving up on him, he is now one of our best beginner horses. He has come a long way, and is one of the kindest and cutest horses in the herd.

Chesney - Andalusian Mixed (Age 17)
Chesney is beautiful and such a goof. He loves to play with toys. He loves to jump and go on cattle drives. He also does very well in dressage. HH has owed Chesney for 13 years. He has been a great part of our program and is loved by many.

Dallas - Missouri Fox Trotter (Age 14)
Dallas is quite a character. He is funny and very playful. HH has owed Dallas for 7 years. He was also part of a rescue effort. He was not easy to train. He was 9 years old and didn't understand this work thing.

Duke - Quarter Horse (Age 16)
Duke is absolutely loves our therapy program. He is a gentle giant and love to be around people. HH has owed Duke for 12 years. He loved to learn everything. He loved jumping, dressage, trail and pleasure.

Flicka - Quarter Horse (Age 18)
Flicka is a beautiful mare. She loves to work. She is sweet and loving. HH has owed Flicka for 10 years.

Freckles - Pony Of America (Age 25)
Freckles has been such a blessing for our program. He is a great beginner horse as well and a great youth show pony. HH has owed Freckles for 14 years. Freckles came from Kansas City and was a 4-H youth pony before coming to HH.

Goliath - Percheron Cross (Age 7)
Goliath is a great actor. He loves to act like a teenage boy, not wanting to wake up and go to work. He will moan and groan and then finally get up. He is so funny! He over exaggerates on everything. HH has owed Goliath for 4 years.

Ivan - Percheron Cross (Age 20)
Ivan is a wonderful horse. He is a silly, playful horse. Ivan always wants to have something in his mouth. He loves to hold the lead rope while being walked. HH has owned Ivan for 6 years. The only history we received was that when he was a young colt he was sunbathing and another horse stepped on him which caused him to have an injured hip. To this day he has a limp, but fortunately he is not in pain, it is just who he is. He is well loved.

Jake - Belgian (Age 6)
Jake is a very big boy. He is around 1400 lbs as of now and is still growing. He is kind and loves to work. HH has owned Jake for 4 years. HH has owned Jake for 4 years. We bought him as a 2 year old. He was being trained by the Amish. The day we picked him up from the trainers, he was very nervous. Once we arrived home, we unloaded him and he exhaled. He seemed to know he had a forever home because he could feel our love. He has been an absolute perfect gentleman.

Jesse - Quarter Horse (Age 22)
Jesse is a wonderful horse, however he prefers advanced riders. He is a very sweet horse. HH has owed Jesse for 13 years. Jesse is one of our best show horses and has taken many of our riders to Grand Championships in Jumping and Pleasure Horse circuits.

Kevin - Welsh Pony (Age 18)
Kevin is one of a kind. He loves doing it all. He has personality plus! His favorite is all of the speed events. He might be small but can he move. As he has matured, he has become one of our most loved beginner horses. HH has owed Kevin 14 years now. When we first got him home he was a crazy fast jumper and did everything as fast as he could. It has taken us years to show him to relax and enjoy life.

Moe - Pony Of America (Age 45)
Moe is a sweet, sweet boy. He still works two hours a week in spite of his age. We have tried to retire him twice, only for him to get depressed and stop eating. So we have put him back to work and will continue to have him on our schedule until the Lord takes him home. He is very proud of being part of our program and working like the other horses. HH has owned Moe for 20 years.

Reignzeck - Polish Arabian (Age 31)
Reignczeck loves to jump, and do speed events. Reignczeck has even been on several cattle drives and did amazing. HH has owed Reignczeck for 15 years. He came from Arizona where his owner raced him in the dried up river beds with her friends. He was really fast back in those days. He is still holding his own in the speed events even today.

Rosie - Quarter Horse (Age 19)
Rosie is a absolutely beautiful mare, a bit sassy but most mares are. Rosie has wonderful, smooth gaits and loves the trails. She has been a great show horse as well. HH has owned Rosie for 9 years.

Shilo - Welsh Pony (Age 24)
Shilo is called the Princess of the barn, and loves being called that. She is sassy and beautiful. She is very kind and loves working with the special need children. She is very sensitive and loving. HH has owed Shilo for 16 years.

Stetson - Paint (Age 26)
HH has owed Stetson for 18 years. Stetson was the first purchase for Heavenly Horses. He is the backbone of Heavenly Horses, and is quite smart. He is a jokester and loves to untie himself and go grazing. He loves so show off and he has been a great show horse. He loves jumping, trail classes, pleasure shows and working cattle. He has gone on many cattle drives.

Tigger - Quarter Horse (Age 11)
Tigger is patient, kind and sweet with the students. He knows his job well and is happy to work. He loves to learn new things. HH has owed Tigger for 4 years. He came to us under weight and neglected. Since that time he has learned how to have a special girl in his life and that has changed everything. With love and correct training he is now one of our best show horses.

Tucker - Quarter Pony (Age 17)
Tucker clearly does not like men but he loves the girls. He has chased many men such as my farrier and vet right out of the stall. Tucker is so sweet to all the girls, especially the little ones. HH has owed Tucker for 14 years.

Vinnie - Quarter Horse (Age 24)
Vinnie is very sweet and kind. He loves being with people and working in lessons. We only keep confident riders on him so he has a leader he can trust. Sometimes he can be brave and will follow the lead horse.HH has owed Vinnie for 16 years. He really has a crazy history. His owner did not introduce him to other horses but instead treated him like a dog. He was sold to a firewomen who put him in a pasture alone for 8 years. So poor Vinnie didn't know how to be a horse until he came to Heavenly Horses. Over the years he has made good friends and has turned out to be a wonderful horse.
